Layla and Archie Co. was founded in November 2025 by Elasha Jackwitz following a significant career transition after eight years in the workforce. What began as a challenging life change became an opportunity to create a business centred around something deeply meaningful: self-care, wellbeing, and living more intentionally.

The brand takes its name from Elasha's beloved pets, Layla, a black Standard Poodle, and Archie, a Seal Point Ragdoll. Inspired by the comfort, companionship, and emotional support that animals can bring to our lives, Layla and Archie Co. was created to encourage moments of calm, restoration, and self-care in everyday life.

Drawing on a background in naturopathy, mental health support, and personal experiences with burnout, Elasha has developed a passion for helping others prioritise their wellbeing. This passion is reflected in every product carefully selected and created for the Layla and Archie Co. collection. The goal is simple: to help people slow down, recharge, and create meaningful self-care rituals that support positive mental health and overall wellbeing.

Today, Layla and Archie Co. offers a growing range of quality handmade soy candles and wax melts, designed to transform everyday spaces into peaceful sanctuaries.
